CJI DY Chandrachud offers prayers at BAPS Swaminarayan Temple in Mumbai

New Delhi: Chief Justice of India (CJI) Dr. DY Chandrachud offered prayers at BAPS Swaminarayan Mandir, Dadar, Mumbai on Saturday.

He took the blessings from Shri Neelkant Varni Maharaj.

CJI Dr. DY Chandrachud was welcomed in the temple after he reached there.

He was briefed by Shri Neelkant Varni Maharaj about the Swaminarayan Sampraday and the way it functions.

Justice Chandrachud appreciated all the work being done by the Swaminarayan sect. Chief Justice Chandrachud described the works of the Swaminarayan sect as full of divine inspiration for humanity.

Earlier, a month-long Centenary celebration of Pramukh Swami Maharaj which was recently concluded on January 15 in Ahmedabad saw noted luminaries and spiritual figures attending the grand event.

According to the data by the organizers said over 1.2 crore people participated in the month-long centenary celebrations of Pramukh Swami Maharaj in Ahmedabad.

During the event, over 1.23 lakh people took a vow to live an addiction-free life.

Thousands of people gain inspiration from Pramukh Swami Maharaj’s life through professional and academic conferences which was held at Pramukh Swami Maharaj Nagar.
