Yogi offers prayers

Varanasi: Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath visited the Kashi Vishwanath Temple and Kaal Bhairav Temple on Monday morning to offer prayers. The Chief Minister also performed Jalabhishek at Baba Vishwanath following the rituals and wished for the well-being of the people of Uttar Pradesh.

CM Yogi is in Kashi as part of a two-day visit of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to the city. He reached Kashi Vishwanath Dham along with Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan and Minister of State Ravi Shankar Jaiswal where they worshipped and performed rituals.  Then, the Chief Minister departed from the temple.

The Chief Minister will be present along with Prime Minister Modi at the inauguration of Swarved Mahamandir at Umaraha and the public meeting in Barki. The administration is fully on alert in view of the increased VVIP movement in the city due to the presence of the Prime Minister.
