Days after murder, Atiq Ahmed’s WhatsApp chats with a builder surfaces on internet

New Delhi: Days after on-camera killing of gangster-turned politician Atiq Ahmed & his brother Ashraf, his sensational WhatsApp chats allegedly with a builder has surfaced on social media.

In the WhatsApp chats of this January 2023, the mafia reportedly threatens a Lucknow based builder with dire consequences.

The WhatsApp chats shows Atiq threatening the builder if the latter fails to follow his diktats. The chats also suggest that the mafia asked the builder to settle dues else face an FIR against him.

“Muslim sahab pure Allahabad me bahuton ne humse faida uthaya lekin sabse zyada tumhare ghar ne uthaya hai. Aaj humare khilaf FIR likha rahe hai aur police ke shay me kaam kar rahe hai, police ne shay dena band dia hai, “ says the WhatsApp chat.

“Aapko aakhri baar samjha raha hun, bahut jaldi halaat badal rahe hai. Maine sabar kar lia hai. Mere koi ladke na doctor banege na vakil banege, aur sirf hisaab hona hai aur inshaallah bahut jaldi hisaab shuru kar dunga jaha tak aapka ghar hai koi jaan marne laiq nahi hai”, it said further.

Atiq’s men collected ‘poll tax’ during elections

Sensational disclosures continue to spill out in public domain about mafia Atiq & his goondas harassing & beating local businessmen in Prayagraj.

During elections, he & his henchmen used to collect ‘poll tax’ ranging from Rs 3- Rs 5 lakh and more, depending upon the capacity of traders.

Pink slips & white slips, both denoting certain amount of poll tax were a known practice during elections.

Reports suggest that local businessmen handed over this money to his goons either in cash or even in cheque. Police officials inform that they have details of Atiq’s bank accounts in which this amount was deposited.
