New Delhi: After conducting marathon raids, the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on Friday lodged an FIR in the new excise policy for alleged procedural lapses and named Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia as Number 1 accused.
According to the CBI’s FIR accessed by Newsroompost.com, Delhi Deputy CM has been mentioned as first name in the list of 15 accused. Other named persons include bureaucrats and other officials.
The list also includes 3 officers including Arva Gopi Krishna, the then Excise Commissioner.
The new liquor policy was in operation for almost 9 months and after mounting losses in revenue and LG’s recommendation for CBI probe into the lapses, the policy was revoked from August 1.
