New Delhi: JNU student Umar Khalid bail has been denied by the Delhi’s Karkardooma Court n a “larger conspiracy” case relating to the 2020 Northeast Delhi violence.
Umar Khalid was arrested on September, 14, 2020 and is currently imprisoned at Delhi’s Tihar jail.
This case is related to the Northeast Delhi riots in which 53 people died and hundreds had got injured. Delhi police had logged the larger conspiracy case naming Umar Khalid, Sharjeel Imam, Gulfisha Fatima including others.
