New Delhi: Delhi Police Commissioner SN Shrivastava visited the field functionaries deployed in view of Holi festival across the city yesterday. The top cop of Delhi police extended greetings and exchanged pleasantries to motivate and boost up their morale.
More than 170 traffic pickets including 131 integrated checking pickets involving Traffic Police, District Police and PCR staff were put up to check unruly and dangerous driving. Apart from this, a large number of woman staff was also deployed in and around North and South campus area to check Holi revellers.
Last couple of months have not been very good for Delhi police. Biased reporting and hate mongering against them played a bigger role but such steps always help young policemen in keeping calm and composure and making Delhi safe.

The CP, Delhi also met Police Mitras and Members of the Aman Committee in North-East district and extended Holi greetings appreciating their efforts in establishing peace with coordination of police.
