New Delhi: In yet another move to boost Himachal’s art & culture, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be gifting Kanal Brass Set, Chamba Rumal, Kinnauri Shawl, Kullu Shawl, Himachali Mukhate, and Kangra miniature paintings to several world leaders at the upcoming G20 summit which will be held from November 15 and 16 in Bali.
This move comes at a time when the state is preparing for the upcoming assembly elections. Voting for Himachal Pradesh is scheduled for November 12, and the counting of votes will take place on December 8.

Next week, PM Modi will travel to Indonesia for the G20 summit where a formal announcement will be made of India’s Presidency of the forum.
Earlier on Tuesday, PM Modi unveiled the logo, theme, and website of India’s G20 Presidency via video-conferencing.
While addressing the gathering, PM Modi said India will preside over the G-20 Summit from December 1 and this will be a historic opportunity for the country.
