New Delhi: Poll-bound Gujarat is grabbing headlines for one or another reason for the past some days. A day after Aam Aadmi Party chief and Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal claimed he was born on Krishna Janmashtami during a political rally in the state, a clip of AAP Gujarat chief Gopal Italia abusing Prime Minister Modi has gone viral.

BJP leader Amit Malaviya shared the clip on Twitter wherein Italia can be heard referring PM Modi as ‘Neech’ (lowly). “Gopal Italia, Kejriwal’s right hand man and AAP Gujarat’s President, stoops to Kejriwal’s level, calls Prime Minister Modi “neech”, Malaviya wrote.

“Using such profanities and abusing Gujarat’s pride and son of the soil is an insult to every Gujarati, who has voted for him and the BJP for 27 years”, he added to the caption.

Previously, a row erupted after Arvind Kejriwal said that he was born on Krishna Janmashtami and God sent him with a special task to finish off “descendants” of Kansa during a rally in Gujarat.

The people put the poster have used insulting words for God. They have insulted God. They hate me so much that they have not even spared God in the poster. I want to ask the people of Gujarat if they are going to spare those who have used such words. These people are the children of Kansa, who are insulting God,” said Kejriwal while addressing in Vadodara.

However, latter had to face backlash after his political opponents google searched the date of the festival in his birth year, which differs from the claims made by Kejriwal.
