“Happy Days”: Shraddha Walkar’s first and last Instagram post with Aftab Poonawala

New Delhi: Shraddha Walkar, who was murdered by her live-in partner Aftab Ameen Poonawala and her body was chopped into 35 pieces and dumped the parts across Delhi called herself a “wanderer” on her Instagram account named “thatshortrebel“.

She wasn’t much active on social media but she was followed by more than 2,900 people.

Days before she was murdered by her lover, she had shared a picture of herself where she can be seen reading a book in Himachal Pradesh’s Garden Cafe. She had posted the picture with a caption that read “Exploring more and more every passing day.”

Also, she posted a reel on Instagram where she can be seen posing by the Ganges in Uttarakhand’s Rishikesh.

Shraddha Walkar shared only these two posts on social media after she shifted to Delhi from Mumbai.

In one of the posts from February 14, which happens to be Valentine’s Day, she shared a  picture of herself with Aftab, and captioned it ”Happy days.”

The Delhi Police said that Aftab made up his mind to kill Shraddha more than a week before he killed her.

Aftab also confessed that he borrowed ideas on preserving the chopped-off body parts and disposing of them later from his fondness for watching web series and shows related to crime

Police said that he did it all himself.
