New Delhi: Hours after the arrest of Amritpal Singh from Punjab’s Monga, his mother, Balwinder Kaur said that she saw the news in the morning and she felt proud that her son surrendered like a warrior.
She also said that she will go an meet him at the earliest and will fight a legal battle.

While, his father, Tarsem Singh said that he wanted his son to surrender as they were also being harrassed due to him. He said they will fight the case aand also the whoe community will fight for him.

Amritpal Singh, who was absconding for over a month, is being taken to Assam’s Dibrugarh jail. The security there has been enhanced.

While, after the arrest of Khalistan sympathiser and radical preacher Amritpal Singh, Punjab chief Minister Bhagwant Mann said that action will be taken against those who will try to disrupt the country’s peace and law.
Bhagwant Mann also said that no innocent person will be disturbed.
CM Mann also thanked the people of the state for maintaing peace and harmony.

Amritpal Singh was on run since March 18 after Punjab ploice launched a massive manhunt for him and his aides.
