New Delhi: Several tourists are stranded mid-air in Himachal Pradesh’s Solan valley due to technical glitch in the cable car.
According to the Dhanbir Thakur, SDM Kasauli, four people have been rescued and seven are still stranded. He also said that NDRF team will shortly reach the spot.
The Solan district police chief said that a rescue trolley was deployed to rescue the passengers out.

Superintendent of Police said that the technical team is present at the site and the situation is being monitored.

Jharkhand’s Deoghar Trolly Incident
Earlier in April this year, three people had lost their lives during a cable car mishap in Jharkhand’s Deoghar. Out of the three people who died in this incident, two had fallen to their death during the rescue attempt.
The Deoghar trolly incident took place when 12 ropeway trollies collided with each other.
After this incident, the ropeway which was managed by a private company and the operators fled from the area
