New Delhi: On the occasion of the 75th Independence Day celebrations Muzaffar Wani, the father of Hizbul Mujahideen terrorist Burhan Wani hoisted the tricolor in Tral today.
Burhan Wani’s father Muzaffar Ahmed Wani is the principal of a government higher secondary school and his video of hoisting the Tricolour has gone viral on social media.
Under the initiative of ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’ the administration has already directed all departments including the education department to ensure that flag hoisting is being done on the occasion of Independence day.

Burhan Wani was the Hizbul Mujahideen commander and was killed by the security forces in 2016. Burhan was a resident of Tral and was the poster boy for the supporters of terror in the Valley.
As per reports, Burhan’s father was leading a protest against the security forces after his death but now after five years, he has hoisted the tricolor in the valley.
