New Delhi: Heavy rains have caused havoc in several parts of the country including Kerala, Maharashtra, Karnataka, Assam and Odisha.

A video has emerged from Belgaum, one of the worst affected districts in flood-hit Karnataka, showing a huge crocodile on the roof of a house inundated with water.

The clip, shared by ANI on Twitter, shows the giant reptile sitting with its mouth open. “A crocodile lands on roof of a house in flood-affected Raybag taluk in Belgaum,” reads the tweet. Shared a few hours ago, the video has already gathered more than 37,000 views – and counting.

Similar visuals have surfaced from Gujarat and Maharashtra where flood fury has unfolded in the recent weeks.
