New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday stopped his convoy to give way to ambulance in Himachal Pradesh’s Chambi town.

Prime Minister is on a day-long visit to the poll-bound state, where he will address 2 public rallies in Chambi & Sujanpur.

The pictures of the incident that surfaced on social media shows PM Modi’s cavalcade making a halt while a traffic policeman guides the ambulance to its destination.

This is not the first incident of Prime Minister’s convoy making way for ambulance. During a recent visit to Gujarat, PM Modi had stopped his convoy to make way for ambulance while he was travelling from Ahmedabad to Gandhinagar. The state BJP unit had also shared a video of the same in which PM Modi’s convoy was seen parked on the side of road.

It may be noted that roads & routes are sanitized & restricted ahead of Prime Minister’s visit to any particular area.

Such gesture reinforces the belief & mantra of Modi-led BJP government, as it has reiterated time & again about trashing VIP treatments & making public services accessible to all & sundry.
