New Delhi: India successfully completed the training launch of an Intermediate-Range Ballistic Missle, Agni 4 on Monday. The launch was carried out at Odisha’s APJ Abdul Kalam Island at 7:30 pm. It is going to boost the country’s military capabilities.
It is reported that the test was part of routine user training launches under the aegis of the Strategic Forces Command. The launch also validated all operational parameters as also the reliability of the system.
The test also reaffirms India’s policy of having a ‘Credible Minimum Deterrence’ Capability, read the statement issued by the defence ministry.
