New Delhi: Lalu Prasad Yadav has named his son Tejashwi Yadav and his wife Rajshri Yadav’s daughter as “Katyayani”.
The name was revealed today by Bihar Deputy CM on his social media account. He also thanked everyone for their lovely wishes.
He also said that the name of his daughter was decided by his father and former Bihar Chief Minister Lau Prasad Yadav.
“On the birth of a lovely daughter, all of you increased our happiness manifold by giving your love, blessings, and best wishes, for this I express my gratitude and thanks to all of you from the bottom of my heart. The girl’s grandfather Mr. Lalu Prasad Yadav has named the daughter “Katyayani”.”

Tejashwai Yadav’s sister Rohini also shared pictures of the couple with their newborn and welcomed baby Katyayani.
What does Katyayani mean?
Katyayani, means an aspect of Mahadevi who ended the life of tyrannical demon Mahishasura.
Katyayani, is the sixth among the Navadurgas. She is one of the forms out of the nine forms of Hindu goddess Durga who is worshipped during the festival of Navaratri.
It’s a baby girl for Tejashwi Yadav
On Monday, Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Tejashwi Yadav and his wife Rajshri Yadav were blessed with a baby girl, their first child.
Tejashwi Yadav married Rajshri Yadav aka Rachel Godinho in 2021.
Former Bihar Chief Minister Lalu Prasad Yadav also expressed his happiness at the birth of his granddaughter.
Also, Rohini Acharya, sister of Tejashwi Yadav shared a picture of the Bihar Deputy Chief Minister holding the baby.
