New Delhi: Income Tax Department has attached properties of Maharashtra Deputy CM Ajit Pawar worth Rs 1000 cr. Five properties including Nirmal Tower at Nariman Point, Mumbai has been attached by IT Dept.
According to reports, the attached properties include a cooperative sugar factory.
This comes after I-T department discovered an unaccounted income of about ₹184 crore last month during the massive search operation.
Earlier on October 28, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) conducted raids in Mumbai and Pune at the residence of Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar’s cousin Jagdish Kadam.
