New Delhi: Holi was celebrated all across India on March 18. This is the much-awaited festival where people from all age groups play with colours, gulal with their family, friends, and near and dear ones. The distribution of sweets falls as a part of the custom of this festival. However, amidst the enjoyment, a lot of scary incidents can take place and one such happened on Thursday.
A 38-year-old man accidentally stabs himself while enacting a stunt during the Holi celebration on Thursday night, the night before Holi. The incident took place in the Banganga area of Madhya Pradesh’s Indore. According to the police, the man has been identified as Gopal Solanki had a knife in his hand. He accidentally stabbed himself while enacting a stunt.
The video of the shocking incident is going around social media which shows Gopal who is heavily drunk dancing with his friends around the Holi Pyre. Later, he is seen stabbing himself four times with a knife in an attempt to recreate a stunt sequence.

Solanki’s friends and family members rushed him to Shri Aurobindo Institute of Medical Sciences where the doctors declared him dead, said the officials.
