New Delhi: Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad Sangma on Friday took the first shot of Covid vaccine at Civil Hospital in Shillong.
Sharing a picture of himself, CM wrote, “Took my 1st #CovidVaccine shot at Civil Hospital, Shillong today. I encourage all our frontline workers and senior citizens to take the vaccine for their protection.”

Meghalaya reported two new COVID-19 cases on Thursday, pushing the coronavirus tally in the state to 13,985, a senior health department official said.
The state now has 20 active COVID-19 cases, Health Services Director Aman War said.
He said one more person recuperated from the disease during the day, taking the total number of coronavirus recoveries to 13,817.
The COVID-19 death toll in the state is 148, War said.
A total of 3.81 lakh samples have been tested for COVID-19 in the state, he added.
