Missing Haryanvi singer found buried near a highway in Rohtak, confirms police

New Delhi: In a shocking incident, the body of a Haryanvi singer has been found buried near a highway in the state’s Rohtak district on Monday.

The singer had gone missing for nearly two weeks, said police.

The singer was last seen on May 11 by her family in Delhi.

A case of kidnapping was filed three days later.

Two men who worked with her, named Ravi and Rohit has been accused of kidnapping and killing her.

According to her family, she had gone with to Bhiwani for shooting a music video with Rohit.

Also, in a CCTV footage showed them having dinner in a hotel near Rohtak’s Meham.

The family has also accused the police.

The family have also accused the police of not taking the case seriously.

The family said that she had no clothes on except her inner wear.

The Haryana’s Meham police said that after receiving the information about body buried near a flyover at Bhairon Bhaini village.

Meanwhile, the body has been sent for an autopsy, after which it  was identified as that of the singer.

One accused has been arrested in the case.
