Northeast has moved past from bandh, guns and blockades, says PM Modi in Lunglei, Mizoram
New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi while addressing a rally in Lunglei in Mizoram said, in the last four years the BJP Govt at the Centre has worked for greater recognition and spread of Indian culture and traditions, far and wide. But I feel a deep sense of anguish when I see the leaders of Congress abuse the same traditions.
PM Modi breaks protocol to meet the masses
Before the rally PM Modi met the masses, he even broke the protocol to meet the people of Mizoram. This created a wave of excitement in the public and people were enthusiastic to see this gesture of Prime Minister. He waved and appreciated the affection of the crowd.
He will be meeting various NGO and civil society leaders at Aizawl.
