Model alleges Tanvir Akhtar ‘turned’ Yash to lure, harass her; victim’s startling allegations (VIDEO)

New Delhi: A Bihar-based model has alleged ‘love jihad’ and said that a modeling institute director Tanveer Akhtar Khan framed her through a Hindu name. The victim, a resident of Bhagalpur, Bihar, alleged that Tanveer aka Yash was forcing her to convert to Islam. The model put out a video on social media narrating her story.

Releasing a video, the model said that she was subject to verbal abuse but even after her shifting to Mumbai, the accused followed her. She has alleged blackmailing and misuse of her pictures on social media. She said that Tanveer wants her to marry her and convert. The model also alleged that the accused sexually harassed her and also pressurised her to come to Bangkok for a shooting.

A case was registered at Mumbai’s Versova police station under sections 376(2)(N), 328,506,504,323 of the IPC, and section 67 of the IT Act against Tanveer and the case has been transferred to Ranchi Police.

In the video, the model also showed the affidavit wherein the accused accepted harassing and blackmailing her and noted that he will not harass her in the future, requesting her to take back her complaint. She said that even after that he created fake IDs on social media and posted objectionable photos to harass her. The victim alleged that the accused had also threatened to kill her and her family members.

The model also said that the police has not taken action after her complaints and requested the officials to act soon.
