PM Modi takes up Kohli’s fitness challenge, posts fitness VIDEO

New Delhi: Days after he was challenged by Indian cricket team captain Virat Kohli, Prime Minister Narendra Modi today finally took up fitness challenge and posted a clip of his fitness regime.

Modi takes up Kohli's fitness challenge PM Modi shared a video of him strengthening his core muscles in the morning. The  video, which is just under two minutes, also had this message.

“Here are moments from my morning exercises. Apart from Yoga, I walk on a track inspired by the Panchtatvas or 5 elements of nature – Prithvi, Jal, Agni, Vayu, Aakash. This is extremely refreshing and rejuvenating. I also practice breathing exercises (sic)”, PM Modi wrote.

PM’s fitness challenge to Kumaraswamy

PM Modi passed on the challenge to Karnataka Chief Minister HD Kumaraswamy, Commonwealth medalist Manika Batra and entire fraternity of Indian police officers, especially those over 40 years of age.

The fitness challenge began with Union Minister of Youth Affairs and Sports Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore taking to his Twitter handle urging Indian citizens to adopt a fitter lifestyle.
