New Delhi: The daylight murder of renowned Punjabi singer Sidhu Moose wala has brought to the fore, the gaping holes in Punjab law & order situation and gives ample reasons to rebuke the Bhagwant Mann government for its lacklustre administration. Sidhu Moose wala who recently joined Congress was shot about 30 times with more than 25 bullets piercing his body.
Not just the killing but the brazen way of gun attack has raised the hackles of locals as well as fellow countrymen.
Bhagwant Mann’s government is under fire for its inability to rein in gangsters & ruffians who are running amok in the state after he took charge.
The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) rode to power in Punjab on the back of tall promises of good governance but clearly, the administration has been caught napping.
Amidst the heat on the state govt, a cartoon on Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann landed on social media and drew the attention of all.
In the cartoon, the CM can be seen ‘passing the buck’ over its failures & not accepting its shortcomings.

Much like the Delhi model in ‘shifting blame’
A lot many users took the dig at the Mann government and claimed that it has adopted the same strategy of shifting blame & not taking accountability for its failures.
Some said that the Mann govt has let down people but is not ready to accept it while others referred it to the Delhi model.
Days ago, Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal said that Punjab will follow AAP’s Delhi model in taking forward the development model.
Many netizens said that indeed the Punjab govt is following Delhi’s footsteps not on accountability but in passing the buck.
In Delhi, the AAP government and Centre’s fight over conflicting issues is well known. For issues pertaining to law & order to ration delivery schemes, the AAP government often shifts the blame on the Centre. But, that is not possible in Punjab as the entire control rests in Punjab CM, unlike Delhi.
