MP Election 2023: Congress leader Vikrant Bhuriya shares pictures of filing nomination, after getting fielded from Jhabua assembly seat

New Delhi: Madhya Pradesh’s upcoming Legislative Assembly Elections are just around the corner and Congress and BJP are already turning up the heat in the poll-bound state. EC will hold the voting on 17th November in a single phase while the results will be declared on the 3rd of December.

With not much time left for the filing of nominations, several parties including the two major dominating forces of the state BJP and Congress have announced the names of their respective candidates for the scheduled elections.

While the INC already announced the names of its for all 230 seats, BJP also finalized its candidate list on Sunday by revealing the names of its last 2 candidates for the assembly seats of Guna and Vidisha districts.

Vikrant Bhuriya shares special post after getting ticket

On Sunday, Congress candidate Vikrant Bhuria, who will be contesting in the upcoming election from the Jhabua assembly seat, shared a number of pictures from his nominations on his Facebook handle attached with a caption that read, “Some unforgettable and remarkable moments”

He received the ticket shortly after Congress held a public meeting near a bus stand during which, B V Shrinivasan targeted BJP and said that the party will not get more than 50 seats in the forthcoming political battle. The Congress leader also said that his party will emerge victorious in the State with the love and support of MP’s citizens.

Who is Vikrant Bhuriya?

Vikrant Bhuriya, the state president of the Youth Congress Party, is a Doctor as well as a farmer by profession. His father Kantilal Bhuriya is an ex-Union Minister who is currently serving as MLA in Madhya Pradesh’s Jhabua district.

The single-phased voting will be held in the poll-bound state on November 17th and the results will be declared by the Election Commission on the 3rd of December.

Currently, the Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP) is in power in MP with Shivraj Singh Chauhan serving as the chief minister. The political party is now eyeing to outdo Congress to register its 4th triumph in the state in the last 20 years.
