Temjen Imna Along

New Delhi: Ever since after his quirky take on his ‘small eyes’ and witty remark about being single and zero contribution to the world population, Nagaland minister Temjen Imna Along is a known name, thanks to social media.

The minister for the fourth time in recent times is winning the internet again, though not for his fluent Hindi or funny perspective this time, but for shaking a leg along with the tribals during a Naga festival.

Sharing a video of himself grooving with the Ao Naga men on the traditional tunes, Imna wrote, “See, I can dance too! #Tsungremong- a festival of the Ao Nagas celebrated for invoking blessing of a bountiful harvest. A rich heritage enthusiastically preserved and passed on to the younger generations”.

The state president of Bharatiya Janta Party (BJP) and Nagaland’s Minister of Higher Education and Tribal Affairs, further invited social media users to visit his native state and culturally rich land of Nagaland, and explore its rare heritage.

“Visit Nagaland to explore its culture and dance along with the local”, he concluded his post.

Since the clip surfaced online, it has gone viral with internet users flooding the comment section with endearing comments. The post has recieved over 95,000 views and 11,000 likes till this article was written.
