Back in the early 2000s, Nita and Mukesh Ambani graced Simi Garewal-hosted talk show Rendezvous. It was there when Nima Ambani, for the first time, openly talked about the time of her life when she was employed as a teacher at Sunflower Nursery.
She revealed that she joined the educational institute in 1985, hardly a year after her marriage to Mukesh Ambani, as a teacher and earned a decent sum of Rs 800 as a monthly remuneration.
Further speaking on her experience at the school, Nita recalled how despite a few people making fun of her, she enjoyed her work to the fullest as it not only gave her satisfaction but also paid for their happy dinner expenses.
Nita Ambani’s commitment to Educating children
Today, Nita enjoys a gigantic net worth of USD 112.66 billion (Approximately) and is one of the richest women in India. While she no longer teaches in schools, she still contributes to educating the country’s children through Dhirubhai Ambani International School which was founded by her back in 2003.
