Northern Army Commander reviews security situation in Kashmir

Srinagar, Mar 26: Northern Army Commander Lt Gen D Anbu has reviewed the overall security situation in the Kashmir Valley on Saturday.
Accompanied by Chinar Corps Commander Lt Gen J S Sandhu, the Army Commander visited the Line of Control formations and units where he was briefed by commanders about the operational preparedness.
Lt Gen Anbu stressed upon the need to sustain vigil and thwart any attempts of infiltration from across.
The Army Commander also took stock of the situation in Kashmir and impressed upon everyone to continue targeting the militant groups while safeguarding the interests of the common people in close coordination with all security agencies and civil administration.
