New Delhi: In a shocking incident, a women in Odisha’s Jajpur district allegedly chopped off the genitals of her husband before stabbing him to death on Saturday.
According to police, the incident took place at Pubola Mundasahi village on Friday night. The victim has been identified as Raju Champia, a 39-year-old of the village.
The accused women has been identified as a 33 year old Kuni Champia. She killed her husband with a sharp weapon.
The Police said that the women chopped off her husband’s genitals and threw them on the spot before fleeing from the scene.
The incident came to limelight when some local people found the body with multiple injury marks lying in an isolated place near Rungurunga canal on Saturday morning.
Soon the locals informed the Sukinda police station about the incident.
It was only after the Police seized the body it was found that the genitals of the body was chopped off and the private part was lying near the body.
Meanwhile, a complaint has been registered with Sukinda police station by the victim’s family members alleging that Raju Champia was killed by his wife.
The deceased younger brother, Jayiram Champia in his complaint with the police said that his brother Raju Champia had married Kuni Champia of Karadagadia Jharanasahi after his first wife left him three years ago.
After his second marriage, Raju was living in his in-law’s house with his wife Kuni.
It was on Friday night when Raju Champia had come to his native Pubola village with his wife.
