New Delhi: Since people never fail to fascinate by trying out different attires and pranking others in a public area, a woman dressing up as “Manjulika” never gets old.
In a recent incident, a video of a girl dressed up in “Manjulika” attire and pranking people in a busy metro is going viral on various social media platforms.
The woman was observed strolling all across the compartment bare feet and wearing a yellow saree, continuously delivering the dialogue while commuters gawked in confusion. Some people weren’t affected by the stunt, though.
A passenger got scared when the girl smacked him on the shoulder uttering the signature dialogue of the character as he was looking down at his phone and wearing headphones over his head. In a reflex, he immediately vacated the seat and move to the other side.
The video comes to an end when the girl takes over the seat while staring at others in “Manjulika” style. After watching the viral video, many social media users claimed that it was made for any endorsement of an India- based electronics brand.
Earlier, a video went viral from Bharatpur, Rajasthan where a woman was seen dressed up as “Manjulika” who stays at the Laxmi Niwas Palace and scares people.
In another incident, the visitor was seen crawling through a white sheet and causing locals the shock of their lives in a popular video posted to Twitter.
All Indian fans of horror movies hold a special place in their hearts for Priyadarshan’s 2007 smash Bhool Bhulaiya. So much so that one of the movie’s main characters- “Manjulika” has amassed a sizable cult following both in India and overseas.
