New Delhi: In the age of digital art and AI, people are re-imaging places and people by changing the time and location they are in. India’s star batter Virat Kohli must have received hundreds of fan-made portraits but this time a digital artist changed his location and background to re-imagine the cricketer as a Rajasthani man.
A Jodhpur-based artist and illustrator Teju Jangid shared a portrait of Virat Kohli as a Rajasthani rural man and took Kohli’s fans by surprise. The artist shared a video on his Instagram handle where he can be seen picking up one of Virat’s pictures in the Test jersey and adding a turban, mustache and lathi to give him the desired look.
In the new look, Kohli can be seen with a red turban, a big mustache and a lathi in his hand as Teju mesmerised netizens with his art. The video reached a lot of Virat Kohli fans and earned more than 4.81K likes.
Teju has previously re-imagined and created the Indian looks for Scarlett Johansson’s Black Widow, Jenna Ortega’s Wednesday, Dwayne Johnson’s Black Adam and Gal Gadot’s Wonder Woman.
The illustrator has also shared his illustrations of various mythological and historical figures and enjoys 43.3K followers on Instagram.
On the other hand, Virat Kohli is currently playing for RCB in IPL 2023. He has scored 279 runs in six innings and stands in the third position in the race for the Orange Cap. In the last game, he scored 59 off 47 against PBKS.
