Pakistan PM requested me to take Navjot Singh Sidhu into my Cabinet, says former Punjab CM Amarinder Singh (VIDEO)

Punjab will go to the polls on February 20. The counting of votes will take place on March 10.

New Delhi: Punjab Lok Congress president & former Punjab CM Amarinder Singh on Monday said that Pakistan Prime Minister had requested him to include Congress Punjab president Navjot Singh Sidhu into your Cabinet. He further said that  Pak PM had asked him tp remove  Navjot Singh Sidhu if he’ll not work.

Earlier, Captain Amrinder Singh had claimed that the state Congress chief Navjot Singh Sidhu has “no brains”.

He further said that he had asked the Congress party president Sonia Gandhi five years ago not to induct “this incompetent man” in the party.

Punjab Polls 2022

In the upcoming Punjab Elections 2022, BJP will be contesting on 65 seats, Amarinder Singh’s Punjab Lok Congress on 37 seats and Shiromani Akali Dal (Sanyukt) 15 seats.

Earlier on Sunday(January 23), Capt Amarinder Singh had announced his decision to fight from his home constituency of Patiala Urban.

His party released the first list of 22 candidates for polls. Meanwhile, BJP has also announced its first list of 34 candidates for the Punjab assembly polls.

Punjab Elections is scheduled for February 20. Meanwhile, counting of votes will take place on March 10.
