New Delhi: Amid the grand old Congress party going through deep leadership crisis, with the party’s efforts of having election strategist Prashant Kishor onboard being failed, a video of former Congress chief Rahul Gandhi ‘partying’ at a nightclub in Kathmandu has surfaced online.

In the now-viral video, Gandhi can be seen in a discotheque with several persons in the background consuming liquor and grooving to pop music.

Sharing the clip, BJP I-T in-charge Amit Malviya tweeted, “Rahul Gandhi was at a nightclub when Mumbai was under seize. He is at a nightclub at a time when his party is exploding. He is consistent. Interestingly, soon after the Congress refused to outsource their presidency, hit jobs have begun on their Prime Ministerial candidate (sic).”

Have a look at the video:

The video appeared hours after Congress had criticized Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his ongoing trip to Europe with a tweet from its official Twitter handle that read, “Desh mein sankat chhaaya hai, par sahab ko videsh bhaaya hai (The ‘Sahab’ is enjoying abroad while the country is at crisis”.

Replying to Congress, BJP leader Tajinder Pal Singh Bagga took to Twitter to post the viral video with the caption, “Sahab”.

Social media users also took a dig at former Congress chief with sarcastic and witty remarks. Check top reactions here:

Gandhi reportedly attended the wedding of a friend in Kathmandu a day ago. According to a report in Kathmandu Post, Rahul Gandhi had landed in Nepal’s capital city on Monday afternoon.
