Sanskrit week began today and will be celebrated till August 25 to promote and popularise this ancient language.

Prime Minister said the Sanskrit language is so rich that it touches every aspect of our life.

The Sanskrit language is reaching people with the help of modern technology, he said.

Prime Minister said, the popularity of Sanskrit is growing across the globe. PM Modi also expressed confidence that Sanskrit week will generate new interest and enthusiasm among the people and play an important role in the spread of Sanskrit language.
