School dropout builts Helicopter by watching YouTube, killed by blades during trail (Video)

New Delhi: In a shocking incident, a school dropout who aspired to build a helicopter died during the trial of his helicopter after one of the blades of his chopper prototype slashed his throat.

The victim has been identified as Sheikh Ismail Sheikh Ibrahim, a 24-year-old from Maharashtra’s Fulsawangi village in Mahagaon tehsil of the district.

With the help of welding steel pipes, he had built a single-seater helicopter.

He had built a chopper named ‘Munna Helicopter’ because that was his nickname.

According to reports, he had gathered information about his dream project by watching videos on YouTube.

Sheikh Ismail Sheikh Ibrahim took two years to collect all the parts that were needed for his dream project.

Apart from welding steel pipes, he also used a Maruti 800 engine to power it.

The incident took place when he decided to take a trail of his chopper near his workshop on August 10th in front of his friends.

He wanted to showcase his helicopter to the entire village on Independence Day.

It was when he started his chopper and the tail rotor blade got ripped off from the body and hit the main blades on the top and  broken blade slashed Ismail’s throat.

After which he collapsed and by the time he was rushed to a nearby hospital he was no more.
