New Delhi: The Delhi Police may write to Bumble to get details of Aftab, a 28-year-old man who allegedly murdered his live-in partner Shraddha Walker.

After getting the details of Aftab’s profile, the Police will be able to find out the details of the women who visited him in his house when the body of Shraddha Walker was still in the refrigerator.

The Delhi Police sources also said Police are looking at the possibility that any of these women could be a reason behind this killing.

Aftab had strangled his live-in partner and chopped her body into 35 pieces, he stored the body parts in a 300-liter fridge for almost three weeks at his residence in South Delhi’s Mehrauli and dumped them all across the city over several days.

Shraddha was murdered in May this year, but the accused was only arrested on Sunday (November 13).

Meanwhile, Shraddha’s father has demanded the death penalty for the accused. He is also suspecting a “love jihad” angle behind the incident.

During the police investigation, it was revealed that the couple had frequent fights.

According to police sources, it is said that before shifting to Delhi earlier this year, the couple stayed in Maharashtra for some time but used to visit various places as part of their travel plans.

The accused identified as Aftab Amin Poonawalla (28), is a resident of Mumbai. He was caught on Saturday (November 12) on the basis of the deceased’s father’s complaint.

The duo had met each other on a dating site and later moved in together at a rented accommodation in Chhatarpur.

An FIR was registered on November 10 after Delhi police received a complaint from Shraddha’father.
