The notice was issued with regard to a complaint booked in February for threatening voters of Uttar Pradesh through a video. The video went viral and a case was registered under the direction of the Election Commission of India. Another notice was issued by the Shahinayathgunj police for his ‘provocative speeches’ at Begum Bazar in April. However, Raja Singh issued a press note via Whatsapp saying that it is a conspiracy by the Telangana police to arrest him even after a bail.

Raja Singh got bail in the alleged ‘hate-speech’ case after his lawyer argued that the police did not follow the Supreme Court guidelines concerning the cases under Indian Penal Code (IPC) sections which provide for a maximum punishment of seven years imprisonment.

According to a statement issued by the Hyderabad police, there are 18 communal cases against him and Raja Singh is currently being lodged in Central Prison at Cheriapally.
