Take a glimpse of Ram Mandir Garbha Griha, first pictures released by Trust

New Delhi: As the construction of grand Ram Temple in Ayodhya goes full throttle, the Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust has released first pictures of the Garba Griha. The Trust has been the governing body and is spreading the construction work of the grand & magnificent Ram Janmanbhoomi Mandir in the holy city. The foundation stone of Garbha Griha was laid by UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on June 1.

The Garbha Griha (sanctum sanctorum) of the Ram temple is being constructed with about 13,000 cubic feet of Makrana marble.

According to Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust, the Garbha Griha i.e. sanctum sanctorum of the temple is likely to be completed by December 2023.

Three-stage process for Ram Temple construction

While hundreds of workers & masons work round the clock to accomplish the momentous task, the Trust has set deadlines for completion of temple in 3 phases.

In first phase, the Garbha Griha will be completed by December 2023. A deadline of December 2024 has been set by the temple management to complete Ram Temple construction while the whole complex will be finished & ready for pilgrims arrival by 2025.

The foundation stone for the Ram Temple was laid in 2020 by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Ram Lalla’s installation on Makar Sakranti, 2024

The temple management has set a target of letting et of letting devotees worship Ram Lalla in the new sanctum sanctorum from January 14, 2024.

Dr Anil Mishra, member of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra trust said, “Over 30 per cent of the work has been completed. Ram Lalla would be installed on Makar Sankranti on January 14, 2024.”
