New Delhi: Group Captain Varun Singh, the lone survivor of Tamil Nadu Chopper Crash – who was under treatment at Command Hospital in Bengaluru – passes away at the hospital.

The news was his demise was officially made by the IAF on Wednesday.

Thirteen of the fourteen people on board the Mi-17V5 helicopter, including India’s first Chief of Defence Staff (CDS) General Bipin Rawat, his wife Madhulika Rawat were among those killed after it crashed on December 8.
Group Captain Varun Singh was the lone survivor of the crash who was admitted at Air Force Command hospital in Bengaluru for treatment.
