New Delhi: Prime Minsiter Narendra Modi on Wednesday prasied the grand welcome accorded to the Vande Bharat Express at Thrissur railway station with traditional folk music at Thrissur railway station during the inaugural event.
Sharing the glimpses on Twitter, PM Modi called it “terrific” in English and ‘gambheera’ in Malayalam.

On Tuesday, PM Modi had flagged off the first Vande Bharat Express connecting the state capital with the northernmost Kerala district of Kasaragod.

In the video, huge crowd can be seen welcoming the train with traditional folk music, drum beats. People can also be seen thronging the platform to take the photographs and selfies with it.
The video was first shared by the Railway Ministry on Twitter.

Meanwhile, there were also reports about water leakage in the Vande Bharat Express on Tuesday when it rained at Kannur as the train reached there.
However, the reports were later denied by the Railways and the news reports were termed as false.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi who was in Kerala on Tuesday also laid the foundation stone and inaugurated various projects worth more than Rs 3,200 crore.
Also, PM Modi dedicated rail electrification of the Dindigul-Palani-Palakkad section.
PM Modi also laid the foundation of various rail projects including the redevelopment of Kozhikode, Varkala Sivagiri and Thiruvananthapuram railway stations.
