New Delhi: In what we call as an inspiring event, a Philippines woman married a man from Bihar in Gopalganj district as per the Hindu customs.
The bride, Velmun Dumra, hails from Jamalinga in Philippines and used to work as a salesperson in Kuwait. She had met the groom, Dheeraj Prasad, in Kuwait only. He is a hotel manager.
The couple who had fallen in love with each other, had decided to marry each other after courtship.
She was so much influenced by the Hindu traditions and culture that she decided to get married in Hindu traditions.
If family is to be believed, Dumra had travelled to India with a special VISA for her marriage. Meanwhile, her parents did not attend the wedding due to VISA issues.
When did they get married?
The lovely couple who were totally in love with each other tied the knot on Wednesday in Murar Batraha village in Bihar’s Gopalganj district.
This event became inspiring and interesting for the locals, so huge crowd had thronged the village to witness the joyous ceremony.
