The success came after the state government led by Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb laid special focus on the field of agriculture. Apart from this, the state government has already initiated a series of plans for an all-round growth of Tripura.

The India Today Group conducts the state-wise study every year with an attempt to find out the states offering best opportunities, both at work and outside, to the citizens.

The study tracks each state’s performance over time and, in particular, records the changes over the last five years. It takes into account both the business environment and the quality of life.
