New Delhi: In Bihar’s Jamui district, two women started fighting each other for over Rs 500, said the police on Monday. The video of the incident has gone viral on the internet. Following this, the police have started an investigation into the matter. Both women are said to be health workers.
The video shows two women arguing over an issue and pulling each other’s hair, while a man is trying to stop them by intervention. One can also see a woman is also making attempt to beat the other woman using her slipper.

It was found that the incident happened in a primary health centre Jamui’s Laxmipur block on Sunday.
Reportedly, ASHA worker Rintu Kumari has arrived at the hospital for a BCG vaccine shot (used to prevent tuberculosis in infants) to an infant. However, Auxiliary Nurse Midwife (ANM) Ranjana Kumari demanded Rs 500 for the vaccine shot. This led to the argument between the two women, followed by a clash.
It is reported that no one received any serious injury in the incident which occurred near the maternity ward of the hospital. The police are further investigating the matter.
So far, no arrest has been made in the case, added the police.
