New Delhi: In a tragic incident, a bus full of 45 to 50 people fell into a gorge in Uttarakhand’s Pauri district on Wednesday. The incident happened near Rikhnikhal-Birokhal road near Simdi village. However, police have reached the spot to launch a rescue operation. So far, it is now clear how many lost their lives.

As soon as the news reached CM Puskhar Dhami, he came into action. He reached the State Disaster Management Center to take the stock of the situation and get the first information.
CM Dhami said the local villagers are also helping the rescue team to save as many as lives possible.
Talking to the media, Dhami said, ”State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) teams mobilised for the accident spot. We are trying our best to take all the facilities to the accident spot. Local villagers helped in the rescue operation.”
