New Delhi: Four people, including a CISF jawan, was killed in an improvised explosive device (IED) blast in triggered by Naxals in poll-bound Chhattsigarh’s Dantewada district on Thursday.
According to reports, People were travelling in an OVT bus which was blown up by an Improvised Explosive Device (IED).
Sources say they were taking food back to the mess.
This is the second attack by the Naxals in the poll-bound state in recent days.
Police personnel and Doordarshan cameraman killed
Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Raman Singh on Tuesday expressed grief over the death of two CRPF jawans and a journalist of public broadcaster Doordarshan at the hands of Naxals in Dantewada district.
Speaking to reporters, Singh said, “I condemn it. A friend from media had gone there and Naxals didn’t hesitate to kill an innocent. The state and Centre will work together there, hope there’ll be peace in the time to come.”
