New Delhi: An alarming video from UP’s Kushinagar lately went viral & raised several questions about the Law and Order situation of the country’s most populous state.
Featuring two groups indulging in an intense violent clash in broad daylight, the viral clip saw a couple of aggressors manhandling and assaulting a police officer after he tried to stop them from causing chaos in the middle of the road.

In the viral footage, one can see a girl, accompanied by a bunch of men, charging at the officer with a wooden stick after he tried to intervene against a group of people wreaking havoc on a busy road. Following that, we see several people hitting and chasing away the cop while abusing and yelling at him at the same time.

While neither the exact reason behind the clash nor its date & timing has been confirmed, its video, shared by an X ( Previously Twitter) user on August 26th, 2024 received strong reactions from social media users.
Taking to the comment section many demanded justice for the police officer while others highlighted how neither of the people witnessing the assault dared to help him from the aggressors.
“This is ridiculous. I wonder if UP Police will do something about it or not.” wrote one user. “Goons are getting out of hand with each passing day” commented another. A third one remarked, “I am waiting for police to teach them a befitting lesson for this.
