New Delhi: PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana is a scheme launched by the Central Government for farmers who need financial support for their land and agriculture. Under the scheme, all farmers get Rs 6000 annually in three instalments of 2000 Rs. The funds are given to these farmers to buy agricultural inputs like seeds, sickles, ploughs, cultivators etc. The government provides all necessary items to the farmers who are registered as beneficiaries and are entitled to receive the funds from the government. The money generated by the government is directly transferred to the bank accounts of the farmers.

Citizens can approach the Nodal Officers assigned by the state government for this purpose
Eligible farmers can approach the Patwaris to get themselves register
Citizens can also enroll the scheme via Common Service Center.
When is the scheme launched?
The PM Kisan Samman Nidhi scheme was launched in 2019 and the main purpose of this scheme to benefit the farmers and to provide them the infrastructure so that they don’t face any financial crunch.
Features of PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana
The Most important feature of this scheme is to give financial support to the farmers. Every Indian farmers is entitled a sum of Rs 6000.
The farmers can use the money for many purposes. The scheme does not categorically implies any usage restrictions.
The scheme is sponsored by the government for the farmers. The government has a budget of Rs75000 crore per year for this pupose.

All the small and marginal farmers can apply
The beneficiary must be an Indian citizen
Farmers from rural and urban region are entitled under the Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana
Who is not eligible for this scheme?
Any institutional landowner is ineligible for the scheme
Any member who holds a constitutional post is ineligible
Any member who has or is serving under the Central Government
Regular employees of local government bodies
Former and Current Ministers of Centre and State Government
Former and Present Mayor of Municipal Corporation
Employees of local Government bodies
Citizens( Their Family members) who file Income Tax in the previous Assessment Year are not eligible for the scheme.
