New Delhi: Nirmala Sitharaman’s daughter tied the knot on Thursday in Bengaluru in a simple event. Close family and friends witnessed Parakala Vangamayi and Pratik Doshi’s wedding. According to the reports, no political leaders attended.
Vangamayi and Pratik Doshi’s wedding was a small occasion conducted at a private hotel in Bengaluru, Karnataka. The wedding followed Hindu marital rituals to the letter, with blessings from seers of the Udupi Adamaru Mutt. The guest list consisted of only close relatives from both families, with no VVIPs or major political leaders present. A video of the wedding rituals has also appeared on the internet.

Who is Pratik Doshi?
Pratik Doshi is from Gujarat and works at the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) as an Officer on Special Duty. He was appointed to the rank of Joint Secretary in June 2019.
Previously, during Modi’s stint as Chief Minister, he served as a research assistant in the Gujarat Chief Minister’s Office. Doshi is a Singapore Management School graduate who works in the PMO’s research and strategy department. His responsibilities include assisting the Prime Minister with secretarial matters, notably those controlled by the Government of India (Allocation of Business) Rules, 1961.
Doshi keeps a low-key profile and does not actively participate in any social media platforms. Despite his powerful position, he chooses to keep his personal and work life private.
