Who was Telangana MLA Lasya Nanditha who died in a Horrific Car Crash?

New Delhi: Hours after the news of the death of former Maharashtra Chief Minister Dr Manohar Joshi’s death was circulated in media, another tragic news of the death of a BRS (Bharat Rashtra Samiti) MLA G Lasya Nanditha died in a horrific accident shook people. She was killed in a road accident in Sangareddy’s Aminpur Mandal in Telangana.

Who was G Lasya Nanditha? 

The 37 year old BRS MLA was born in 1986. She has two sisters Namaratha and Niveditha. She was an Indian Politician from Secunderabad. She was also the former Corporator from Kavadiguda. She fought the 2023 Telangana Assembly elections as a candidate from Bharat Rashtra Samiti from the Secunderabad constituency. She defeated Ganesh N of the BJP by 17, 169 votes. Her late father was the sitting MLA from the Secunderabad Cantonment. He died in February 2023.

BRS MLA died in a Car Crash

G Lasya Nanditha was in her car when the driver lost control and hit the divider. She was travelling in an XUV Maruti XL6 on the Patancheru Outer Ring Road. The driver and Nanditha got seriously injured and rushed to the hospital. According to sources, the driver fell asleep on the wheel and lost control which led to the accident. Nanditha’s Private Body Guard was also injured in the accident. Nanditha was declared brought dead by the doctors. Her mortal remains will be sent to a government hospital for Post-Mortem.

Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy also condoled her death, he took to twitter and wrote, “The untimely death of Cantonment legislator Lasya Nandita left me deeply shocked. I had a close relationship with Nandita’s father Swargiya Sayanna. He passed away in the same month last year… It is very sad that Nandita also died suddenly in the same month. My deepest condolences to their family…I pray to God to rest her soul in peace.”
