Mumbai: Safe Kids Foundation has organized a 3 day event on May 12-14, 2019 on road safety awareness on the occasion of 5th Global Road Safety Week 2019 announced by United Nations and World Health Organization (WHO). The objective of this initiative is to create awareness among children and adults about the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG). Global Road Safety Week agenda is to promote road safety, share their concerns and create safety message on a bubble board on “Save Lives #SpeakUp about Road Safety”.

Safe Kids Foundation is promoting “Save Lives #SpeakUp” by organizing fun-fair and exhibiting Road Safety posters and fact sheets.

On the occasion, Rupa Kothari, Managing Trustee & Executive Director, Safe Kids Foundation, India said, “Through this Global Road Safety Week, we would like people to assess and identify the risks encountered on daily journey and prompt decision makers to make travel safe “Save Lives #Speak Up”.
